Calendar 2005 - Tahiti from the sky
Geologically speaking, the island of Mehetia is the youngest of the Society archipelago. Located in the extension of Tahiti, this underwater volcano rose above the surface of the ocean only a short time ago; so far, no barrier reef has had time to form around the coastline of the island.
